Directors’ Forum
A confidential forum for life‑science board chairs
The Directors’ Forum brings together independent board chairs and non-executive directors of life-science companies in Europe, to go deep on the issues they can’t raise anywhere else.

Why it exists
The board looks to you to lead it.
The CEO looks to you for support.
So who does the chair turn to?
Few places to speak openly
What happens in the boardroom can’t be discussed with the board, the executive team or investors. The Forum gives chairs a room of peers where it can.
Different countries, the same questions
Cultural and regulatory differences across Europe mean chairs rarely compare notes across borders, despite facing the same issues. The Forum brings them together.
How it works
FORUM sessions, and nothing else
The Directors’ Forum meets only in FORUM sessions, built for depth rather than breadth.
01
Confidential
What’s said in a FORUM session stays there. Sessions run under the Chatham House Rule and are never recorded.
02
Intimate
Groups are kept small, so every member has room to bring an issue and be heard.
03
In depth
Time to work through an issue properly with peers, rather than skim the surface.
04
Recurring
FORUM sessions take place several times a year, so the same chairs meet again and trust builds.
Forum sessions
Recent and upcoming sessions
The topics and guests are public. Everything said in the session stays in the room.
