Nikolai Ahrens - Founder
Nikolai studied Biochemistry (BA) and Physiology/Cell Biology (DPhil) at Oxford University. He spent 20 years as an investment banker in various senior leadership positions at S.G. Warburg, JP Morgan, Citigroup and Lehman Brothers/Nomura International, advising European corporate and private equity clients on major mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions. He was then appointed Managing Partner of a leading Swiss industrialist investment platform and joined the boards of portfolio companies across a number of industries.
In 2018, he co-founded Turos Capital in Switzerland, an advisory and fundraising firm exclusively focused on companies in the life science sector.
Patricia Wolf - Founder
After training as a journalist at SAT.1 and the Axel Springer School of Journalism in Hamburg Patricia turned to developing fictional and non fictional programs for UFA (Berlin) and worked as a producer at Walt Disney TV and Buena Vista Intl. (London and LA).
As a major shareholder and member of the shareholder committee of her German family business and in her own entrepreneurial activities, Patricia gained invaluable insights into everyday challenges faced by entrepreneurs, investors and directors. She also learned to appreciate the value and power of a network of supportive peers as part of the extended YPO community.
Patricia holds a BA in Politics from Princeton University.
Candice Herschel - Head of Community
Candice has extensive experience engaging communities of CEOs, founders, and other leaders internationally. At LifeScience ORG, she runs our early-stage founder community, nextGEN.
She previously led the global advisory network at Entrepreneur First. Before that, she was a founding team member at the former CEO of Google’s philanthropy, Schmidt Futures, and facilitated strategic partnerships for the tech and investors industries at the World Economic Forum.
Candice holds a BA from Columbia College of Columbia University.
