Pascale Witz was appointed Chair of the Board of Directors of Augustine Therapeutics in April 2025. She was also named Chair of the RTI Surgical Board of Directors in June 2021. Previous board memberships include Horizon Therapeutics plc, Tesaro Bio Inc., and Arkuda Therapeutics Inc., all of which were subsequently acquired by Amgen, GSK, and Johnson & Johnson respectively.
Pascale Witz currently serves on the boards of Fresenius Medical Care AG, Revvity Inc., and Regulus Therapeutics Inc. She also sits on the boards of INSEAD and the Global Alzheimer Platform Foundation.
In 2021 authored Tech: The Healthcare Revolution, explaining how AI, machine learning, and big data are accelerating medical innovation and transforming patient management.
In her prior career, In 2013, she joined Sanofi as Executive Vice President, Pharma Divisions, and in 2015 became head of the Global Diabetes and Cardiovascular Businesses, representing €7bn in revenues. She served on Sanofi's Executive Committee from 2013 to 2016.
Prior to Sanofi, she was with GE Healthcare for 17 years, holding leadership positions of increasing responsibility across Europe, the UK and the USA. She served as President and CEO of its pharmaceutical diagnostics business, a fully integrated $2bn operation.
She began her career at Becton Dickinson Pharmaceutical Systems, based at their European headquarters in Grenoble, France.
Pascale earned a Master's degree in Life Sciences and Engineering from INSA Lyon, before completing her MBA at INSEAD.
She is also a Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur - the highest French distinction - and was recognised among Fortune's Top 20 Most Powerful Women in EMEA in both 2014 and 2015.
