Dr. Nikolai Ahrens
Founder/Director

Nikolai studied Biochemistry (MA) and Physiology/Cell Biology (DPhil) at Oxford University. He spent 20 years as an investment banker in various senior leadership positions at S.G. Warburg, JP Morgan, Citigroup and Lehman Brothers/Nomura International, advising European corporate and private equity clients on major mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions. Nikolai was then appointed Managing Partner of a leading Swiss industrialist investment platform, a role he held for 5 years, and joined the boards of portfolio companies across a number of industries.

In 2018, he co-founded Turos Capital in Switzerland, an advisory and fundraising firm exclusively focused on companies in the life science sector.
